Fantasy Premier League Team Selection for Gameweek 3 21 August, 2009

Shaun Wright-Phillips get drafted in as Manchester City start the season better than I had expected. In addition, their next two matches (against Wolves and Portsmouth) should give their players a good chance to perform well. Marouane Fellaini is the player to make way as I look to hedge my bets on Everton. I have another two of their players in my squad, and three seemed a little excessive given their recent uncertainties.

Zhirkov and Cattermole are benched as they appear to be injury doubts. Dempsey also sits out as Fulham face tough opponents in Chelsea. Wright-Phillips captains the side as City should do well against Wolves.
