Fantasy Premier League Team Selection for Gameweek 2 18 August, 2009

I have transferred out Martin Skrtel (Liverpool) as he will be out for the next couple of weeks, and brought in Franck Quedrue (Birmingham City) on a stop-gap basis as Birmingham have a couple of home games coming up against relatively easier teams.

Darren Bent (Sunderland)
Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) captain

Team selection for this gameweek is a no-brainer due to the fact that there will only be six games to be played; there will only be at most nine players scoring points for me! Rooney takes the captain's armband as I fancy him to score a goal or perhaps lay on an assist against Burnley.
